They have the pull needed to give your creditors a call and start putting a little bit of that pressure back on them.
Before you know it, many of the fees and charges that you have accrued will disappear before your very eyes. And, as if by magic, all of your numerous debts will be made into one manageable chunk of debt that you can now pick away at, day by day, until the bitter end (which will actually be quite a sweet one). Debt management will not be erased in a day, and probably not even in a year, but it will be manageable - how many things can we say that about in life?
