Become Debt Free

Did you know there are millions of ways to become debt free? Okay, not millions. Only six or seven. But that's probably six or seven you didn't know about!

Take A Stand

You live in America--an America that's striving to become a debt free America, in fact. Most people don't know that there are plenty of debt free programs to help with this goal, so don't feel bad about our teasing. You are definitely not in the majority. You can try to become debt free on your own, but there's really only one good way to do this, and it only works for credit card debt: you can transfer your credit card balances to a 0% balance transfer card and try to pay it off during the 0% introductory period. This might present a small problem though. If your balance is too high, it might not be possible to pay if off in full in six months or a year (which is usually the length of a 0% introductory period). In that case, you have to start this process all over again and continue it until you are debt free. You have to be sure that these 0% balance transfer cards don't have annual fees or balance transfer fees though, and most companies won't let you have more than one 0% rate card. For instance, you can't get one from Citi, then transfer it to Chase, then to Discover, then back to Citi. Citi won't allow it. Chances are Chase and Discover won't either. Plus, to even start all this you have to have good credit.

If this plan isn't for you, why not try one of the five professional debt free plans to go debt free? There's debt consolidation, debt consolidation loans, debt consolidation mortgages, debt settlement and student loan debt consolidation for your consideration. To find out which of these will put you on the road to debt free living, contact a debt management company today.
